RISD in Providence, RI is seeking faculty candidates for their Department of Photography. The successful applicant must demonstrate significant professional and exhibition experience and have a track record as an effective studio teacher and critic. Candidates should have an MFA in Photography or its equivalent and must have at least 3 years cumulative teaching experience at the graduate/undergraduate level, beyond a teaching assistantship. Ideal candidates will have some administrative experience and must be willing to serve in rotating administrative management positions within the department. Preference will be given to candidates with a photographic background and practice that expands the medium’s boundaries. Rank will be dependent upon teaching/professional experience.
