Choreographer and interdisciplinary artist, Victoria Eleanor Bradford/A House Unbuilt (ahouseunbuilt.com) is seeking dancers or physically engaged performance artists with a sense of contemporary movement practices for an upcoming performance exhibition at the west loop’s Design Cloud Gallery. Selected performers will receive access to rehearsal space/time (http://ahouseunbuilt.com/hubstudio) for their own projects for their participation.
This project will apply A House Unbuilt’s socially-engaged choreography and response-based movement tactics to dance-making in a gallery setting. Selected performers will perform in a public exhibition on June 14th at Design Cloud Chicago. The project is also slated for a residency at the Chicago Cultural Center in August/September of this year in which participants may be invited to perform as well.
Audition/rehearsals will take place:
