The annual Interdisciplinary Arts MFA Thesis Exhibition will open for 2013 graduates with a reception on Friday, April 26, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. The exhibition will be in the Center for Book and Paper Arts Gallery, on the second floor of the historic Ludington Building at 1104 South Wabash Avenue. Performance work will be presented on two days at Stage 2, located at 618 South Michigan Avenue (2nd floor). Performances will be on Friday April 26 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m.

The unveiling of final thesis projects and performances by graduating students in the Interdisciplinary Arts Department. The works in the MFA Thesis Exhibition are the culmination of one year of guided research, and they reflect the department’s dual focus on interdisciplinary book and paper arts and interdisciplinary arts and media. Artists presenting work in this year’s exhibition and events include Boo Gilder, Elizabeth Isakson-Dado, Michelle Korte Leccia, Hannah E. King, Michael LaHood, Jacqueline McGill, Alexa J. Rittichier, Jenna Rodriguez, Christopher Saclolo, and Claire Sammons.

There will be another opportunity to join with the artists as they celebrate the completion of their Master of Fine Arts degrees. During the Columbia College Chicago campus-wide arts festival known as Manifest, InterArts will have an additional reception for artists, friends, and family on Friday, May 17 from 5:00–8:00 p.m. The Manifest reception will be held at the Center for Book and Paper Arts Gallery.
