Dance Fellow – Colby College (Maine)

The Department of Theater and Dance at Colby College invites applications for a sabbatical replacement Faculty Fellow position in Dance for the Academic Year 2013-14. The successful candidate will hold an M.F.A. or Ph.D., have a sincere interest in working in a liberal arts setting and the ability to mentor student choreography and performance. Responsibilities include teaching contemporary (post-modern) technique courses at varying levels and artistic directing/choreographing one mainstage dance production (one course equivalency). Additional courses might include creative process, improvisation, contemporary issues in dance, dance writing, or other specially negotiated courses.
