River North Chicago Dance Company, a jazz-based contemporary repertoire company, is seeking a Wardrobe Supervisor for the 2012-13 Season. The wardrobe supervisor reports to the artistic director as well as production manager. He/she is in charge of any and all issues and activities related to wardrobe, fittings, alterations, prepping for performances, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, management of wardrobe inventory and departmental budget. This position is responsible for traveling with company on all local, regional, national and international engagements when required. He/she is responsible for the packing/unpacking of costumes before and after each performance. In addition, they will be in charge of the load in/load out at theaters, and other duties in theater, as required by artistic director and production manager. Dance company and touring experience preferred. Salary negotiable within approved budget. Start date November 1.
