Elusive, an exhibition of new work by CBPA alumna Laurie Wessman LeBreton, opens October 15 at the University of Massachusetts Student Union Gallery in Amherst, MA.

In her latest work, Laurie continues her ongoing examination of ideas of impermanence, the role of chance, the interplay of joy and sorrow, and the futility of control. The graceful, curving forms in her pieces hold significant symbols of LeBreton’s journey as an artist and world traveler.

The opening reception and will be on October 18 in the gallery from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with a talk given by the artist at 6:00 p.m. The University of Massachusetts Student Union Gallery is located at 326 Student Union, University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
