CBPA Studio Coordinator Brad Freeman Interviewed for Article on Artists’ Books

The field of artists’ books is the subject of an article recently published in Chicago Art Magazine. The first in a series, the article gives an introduction to the book arts within the context of the broader field of contemporary art practice. Featuring expert insights from leading artists, CBPA’s own Brad Freeman– internationally known as a pioneer in the field– was interviewed for the piece.

“The term [Artist’s Book] has been around for more than a hundred years, first with the French Livres D’artistes and subsequently with the photo-books that began to be produced in the 60s.”
