Partner Dance Press co-founders Achy Obejas and Megan Bayles, with help from the Ellen Stone Belic Institute for the Study of Women and Gender in the Media, are putting together an online anthology of text-based projects by Chicago women under 40. ‘Text-based’ is broadly defined, including but certainly not limited to: visual pieces that utilize words, animated films that involve spoken or written language, interactive digital communications, and—of course—written work of all types. We are really interested in the submissions being diverse—and by that we mean culturally, yes, but also demographically within the city, diverse in perspective and diverse in media.
