The talents of Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni are featured in New Faces Sing Broadway 1969, a musical theatre revue presented March 14 and 15 by Chicago’s Porchlight Music Theatre. David Stobbe ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, and Brandy Miller, a junior in the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, are members of the ten-member cast, and Adrian Abel Azevedo ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program, is directing the show.

New Faces Sing Broadway 1969 features songs from musicals that played on Broadway in 1969, including 1776, Celebration, Dear World, The Fig Leaves Are Falling, George M!, Hair, Her First Roman, Jimmy, Maggie Flynn, Zorba, Coco, and Promises, Promises.

The show plays at two different locations — one in the city and one in the suburbs. On Tuesday, March 14, the show plays at Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway, in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. On Wednesday, March 15, the show plays at the Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln, in Skokie. Both shows start at 7:30 PM. For tickets, call or click here.
