Alumni of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department are featured in the Chicago premiere of Heathers: The Musical, running February 28–April 24 at Theater Wit.

Based on the cult-classic 1988 movie satire about murderous high school high jinks, the show, presented by Kokandy Productions, co-stars Courtney Mack (BFA ’15), a graduate of Columbia’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance. Mack plays Veronica (the role portrayed in the original film by Winona Ryder). Teressa LaGamba (BA ’13), a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Acting BA program with a minor in American Sign Language, plays the supporting role of Martha “Dumptruck” Dunstock. Kory Danielson, also an alumnus of Columbia’s musical theatre program, is the show’s musical director.

Theater Wit is located at 1229 W. Belmont in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. For tickets, call 773-975-8150 or click here.
