Open Call: The WYE Residency Program

Centrally located in the heart of Kreuzberg, THE WYE is Berlin’s newest international art institution. Housed in 20,000 square feet of the iconic Skalitzer Post building, THE WYE offers creative professionals across all artistic disciplines the opportunity to take advantage of spacious private studios, significant public exposure, direct access to a community of peers, and a host of career opportunities.

Live/work spaces are offered to selected applicants for short use (1 – 3 months). The residency spaces are in their own wing of THE WYE, which offers both privacy and easy access to the art house community. These live/work spaces are original to the building and served as the private quarters of Deutsche Post administration. Fully furnished private bedrooms range in size. Furnished kitchen, bathroom and living room are shared with up to 4 residents.

The WYE residency program provides private space, institutional support, and immediate immersion into Berlin’s art scene to professional artists of the highest caliber. Creative professionals across all disciplines are invited to apply.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant must be in a professional stage of their career. Students are not eligible. Applicants must have the legal right to visit or reside in Berlin, and must provide their own health insurance.
