Red Clay Dance Company Auditions Women Dancers July 15-16 at Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago

Red Clay Dance, an all-female ensemble founded and led by Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alum Vershawn Ward (BFA ’02), is seeking three female dancers for its 2016-2017 season. To schedule an audition, send a resume and headshot to info@redclaydance.com by Thursday, July 14.

Auditions will be held Friday-Saturday, July 15-16, between 10 AM and 1 PM each day, at the Dance Center of Columbia College, 1306 S. Michigan, Chicago.

Vershawn Ward

Ward, founder and Executive Artistic Director of Red Clay Dance, is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago’s Dance BFA program. She also holds an MFA in Dance from New York University.

Dancers 21 and older are welcome with training in contemporary, modern, West African, and ballet technique. Athletic movers who are comfortable with speaking onstage are preferred. There is an eight-month contract, and daytime rehearsals are required.
