Special thanks to Nicole E

Your blogger ran into Nicole E, a current PHD candidate at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO just before a panel at the prime lunch and social hour in the lobby.

Q: What brings you to the conference this year?

A: I am here for the panels, and to check out the City of Chicago.

Q: What are your interests personally?

A: Well, I’m an Americanist – and you should know what that means. I am especially interested in art of the first World War.

Q: Do you have a favorite panel from this time so far?

A: Yes, I was really looking forward to attending the honorary session for Wanda Corn.
