Business & Entrepreneurship Students Produce a History-Making Broadcast

This past summer, August 2015, four Columbia students assisted Columbia lecturer Jamie (Black) DeMedici by producing a ten-hour live streaming broadcast for Dynasty Podcasts. This invaluable experience gave them a great resume-building opportunity and exposure to working with new technology.

Audrey Sutherland (Executive Producer), Mary Stavropoulos (Producer), Prov Krivoshey (A.V. Producer), and Ingrid Lejins (A.V. Producer) were tasked with booking the event, scheduling guests, marketing, audio reinforcement, video and live streaming for the broadcast. This production team booked over 40 guests for the Chicago event and attracted press from WBEZ, Fake Shore Drive, 312 Audio and more.

The Business & Entrepreneurship department features faculty professionally engaged in their industries, bringing real-world experiences to the classroom, making the student academic experience more rewarding. Simply put, starting your collegiate career at Columbia College Chicago gives you unique opportunities not available at other schools. Congratulations to Audrey, Mary, Prov and Ingrid on executing such a huge project.
