New Spring 2015 Partnership:

The Business & Entrepreneurship Department
&
Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Small Business Development Center

Beginning with the spring 2015 semester, the Business & Entrepreneurship Department of Columbia College is teaming with The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and its Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide its students with professional legal advice and other supportive resources for aspiring entrepreneurs. Students will be able to schedule an appointment to meet with a SBDC consultant and receive valuable one-on-one legal counseling at the Business & Entrepreneurship Department office one day each week. In addition, information about opportunities to participate in the CCC and SBDC programs (i.e. special events, tradeshows, internships, crowd funding and incubator resources) will be made available to students who are interested in growing their brands and interfacing with the business community on local and global scales. This important partnership provides services that are impactful and at no cost, and serves as an extension of curriculum-related resources that the Business & Entrepreneurship department offers its students.
