Ragana Conjures the Spirit of the Forest
gouache and colored pencil on handmade cotton paper, 2012.

Interdisciplinary artist Kaitlin Kostas joins with illustrator and designer Audrey Schlofner in an exhibition in celebration of Women’s History Month at the Lincoln Belmont branch of the Chicago Public Library. The exhibition, which runs from March 3–31, features pieces from Kostas’s series The One Who Rises. There will be an artists’ reception on Thursday, March 7, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., where both women will present and discuss their work and its influences and origins. For more information on the reception, click here.

Kostas is also part of a group of InterArts alumni who have banded together to present the exhibition If All Else Fails… at Co-Prosperity Sphere this coming May. Details of that exhibition can be found here.
