Interdisciplinary Art Salon Series Kicks Off for Spring 2013

The Interdisciplinary Arts Graduate Student Organizations IMAGe Unit and PIT (Pulp, Ink, & Thread) announce their first Salon Night of spring 2013! Wasting no time, the collaborating organizations have scheduled this monthly event to start up again this coming week, on Monday, January 28, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. Following the now familiar format, the event will take place in the 1104 South Wabash building’s second floor Raw Space.

The ongoing series of art presentations by students, faculty, and staff are an opportunity to share work, connections, ruminations, and ideas with InterArts colleagues in an informal setting. As before, the focus will be on getting feedback, making connections, and sparking new ideas. The first spring event is being hailed as the “Alumni Extravaganza,” featuring presentations by three recent InterArts alums: Nick Sagan (Media), Maggie Puckett (Book and Paper), and Nic Ruley (Media).

The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP required. Come early to get a good seat!
