The 2012 Albert P. Weisman Award Exhibition opened as part of ColumbiaCrawl on September 4, with an impressive showing from recent graduates of the Interdisciplinary Arts program. The Weisman grant-winning projects are on display in the Arcade Gallery until October 19, and ten of the awards-winners are recent MA and MFA graduates of InterArts. In addition, the 2012 Weisman Purchase Prize was awarded to InterArts Book and Paper MFA Daniel Lubniewski, for his project Third Born, a seven-part artists’ book and series of puzzle tiles that can be viewed as interchangeable panels in a graphic novel.
