These residencies provide time, facilities and assistance for specific projects. The selection committee seeks emerging and mid-career artists who are experienced book artists, printers, and/or papermakers. Selected artists receive studio space; assistance; access to the Center’s top-quality print (letterpress), bookbinding, papermaking, and digital (Mac) studios; living accommodations; and an honorarium. The Center’s archive, a valuable resource for the program’s students, receives one copy of each resident’s editioned piece each year for its collection.
