Brad Freeman nominated for MCBA Prize

The Center for Book and Paper Arts is proud to announce that Brad Freeman has been named a finalist for the 2011 MCBA Prize, a prestigious award for excellence in artists’ books awarded by Minnesota Center for the Book. Freeman was one of five selected from over 150 applicants from 22 countries.

Brad Freeman, CBPA studio coordinator and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Artists’ Books (JAB) submitted “Wrong Size Fits All”, a “book of miracles and mishaps” examining the consecutive deaths of the artist’s father and sister.

Freeman has been with the Center for Book and Paper Arts since 2006. Prior to working at CBPA, Freeman worked with Nexus Press in Atlanta. This is his second nomination.
