Eden Unluata just graduated from the MA program in Interdisciplinary Arts here at Columbia College (Summer 2010). I had an opportunity to chat with him about how moving from his native Turkey to the US has influenced his art practice and career focus. Now 12 years into making Chicago his home, Eden has used the InterArts MA program to breathe new life into his work. This unique, one-year graduate degree gave him the tools to craft a coherent dialogue surrounding his take on interdisciplinarity: a place where art and design build up on each other.
