A Delicious Opportunity

In November, students had the “sweet” opportunity of volunteering for The Hot Chocolate 5K/15K benefiting The Ronald McDonald House. As part of Entertainment Marketing and The Business of Professional Sports, students are encouraged to volunteer at events around the city. Typically they volunteer for The Chicago Marathon, Special Olympics events and the Shamrock Shuffle. It is a great opportunity for students to network with each other as well as to get a better understanding of how large scale events work behind the scenes.
